Please save these dates for our next general meetings: Thursday, May 24, 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, June 28, 7:00 p.m. Mary Likins will check for conflicts with friendly organizations but for the time being let's pencil in those dates.

The main item on the agenda for our May 24 meeting will be the ballot question on the so-called Act Promoting Excellence in Public Schools, and we hope to have a speaker from the Massachusetts Teachers Association to help lead the discussion. For a critique of the ballot question just click here.

The main subject matter for the June 28 meeting will be state-level policies regarding renewable energy and local farms.
