I hope we never use the term DemoGreen *again*. There are just Greens
and here, Green-Rainbows. We don't need the counterproductive name
calling that occurs in the national party here (we didn't have it in
2004 though we did have disagreements over tactics).

We will have a candidate on the Nov. 2008 prez. ballot who is not a
member of another political party and we have a demonstrated record of
running our own candidates for major offices and not worrying about
"spoiling" anything.

However, there are legitimate arguments for focusing on local
elections over high profile offices like president. Just because
someone might feel that focusing on local campaigns is a better tactic
to grow our party, doesn't mean they are not Green-Rainbow supporters
(or are any other pejorative term folks will dream up to separate us.)

I find it is better to spell everyone's names correctly. Wikipedia
and google are but 13 or fewer characters away.

peace and solidarity,

Jamie
