[candidate-development] In regards to the failure to post aminority opinion as required by our By-laws

Hi John,
I agree with you that the "rules" are confusing. Doesn't that mean that we
should engage in a respectful dialogue to
get everything clarified?
In terms of calling us a "small band", when does being in the "minority"
mean that the "minority" should go along
with the "majority" when the "minority" believes that the "majority" is
moving in a path that is incorrect or harmful?
If "minorities" are supposed to be silent, what is the purpose of our very
small political party?
Jamie posted this message to this list because the Secretary of our Party,
at the request of the co-chairs, has
violated his responsibility to follow the by-laws. What about a problem
when the "majority" abuses its authority?
I object to your insult to Jamie. Jamie has a long history of service to
our party.
Once again I ask you to behave respectfully towards those who you disagree.
Mike Heichman

I am sorry Jamie, but after the repeated refusal of you and a small
band to obey the State Convention, State Committee (even at risk to
life and limb) and State Co-chairs, you have little credibility.
Bill Cunningham points out that the rules if read finely enough are
riddled with contradictions which means that a jesuitical reading can
come up with almost anything.
I wish you had put the same effort into helping (rather than
impeding) my attempts to raise funds for ballot access for the Greens
in AZ as you put into these silly maneuvers.
Nat and Merelice continue to do a fine job - and at this point when
it is their word against yours, you simply have no leg to stand on.
I hope that you change this course.
Best,
john walsh
