I regret that I find myself in the position of having to establish for 
you that I do know how to read.

I am sure that the quoted statement means exactly what is written, and 
that it was deliberately written in such a manner as to preclude abuse 
of process.  Let us not ignore the phrases, "Significant .   .   .", 
and, another phrase, ".   .   . as appropriate."

Do you favor leaving the interpretation of two critical qualifications 
to a single individual?  Or would you prefer a consensus of, say, the 
Adcom.

But my real question is very different.  Your e-mail, the third such, 
gives rise to this  How, in your view does the content of this message 
advance the expressed desire, to convince people of the need for 
another way of doing something that you wish accomplished, by 
reasonable discourse within a small group committed to discovering ways 
establishing a consensus that would be found reasonable by other 
members of the party with whom you disagree?

It would perhaps be easier on me personally, if you could explain this 
to us all.  I have no wish to silence anyone, or to exclude anyone from 
the group of people committed to talking to one another with the 
purpose of finding ground for consensus.  Or compelling anyone to join 
it.  People have all kinds of motives for being where they are or 
leaving, and people like us, perhaps more advanced in years, must have 
seen enough to not wonder at it.

A 'growing dissent' might cause the Church of England to relent and 
permit the dissenters their own way.  But I doubt that even the GRP, 
loaded as it is private personal agendas, would take seriously the 
mimicking of Duopoly politics, with people coming and going as they 
choose, and should choose, as an argument for achieving any unworkable 
consensus.  Reality does rule.  And only critical awareness and 
self-criticism help us in discovering what that reality is.
