Hi, CDLC folks-

We have not had a metingin a while and I know folks had wanted us not to
discuss concerns about the primary ballot because they wanted to get onto
questions of running people for legilative offices and of advisory questions.

>From reading the notes, it appears taht Jill and Gary were spuposed to be
heading up owrko n the process of filing ballots questions.

I was sick for that call and so have seen no offer to join any of the
subcommittees created on that call.

I would like, however, for jill and gary to at least report on their progress
if not actually have a CDLC call on what everyone felt was an overwhlemingly
urgent matter.

I have also now through two of my outside commitments run into discussion
where the groups I was with seemed to believe that the GRP was working advisory
ballot questions.

No such work has been reported to my knowledge by Jill and Gary.

Can we please have a report? I imagine I am not the only one who would like
to know what is going on with this work and perhaps have input.

For instance, the other groups that have been contacted seem to think that
getting agreed upon language is incredibly urgent so they cannot go through
their normal decision-making process.

Jill & Gary, can you please clarify this urgency? (I have not been able to
locate time line information on this urgency). Can you also let us know how
you are proposing we target districts (party building? or SPWG?)

Thanks, Grace
