Dave,
I have no difficulty in understanding the result, the source of the
error and I am grateful to Jamie for catching it and repairing it.
That said, I do not know why CDLC should be disturbed, or how the
realities that we face have been little altered.
In my reading, the implication is that if we do the needed work we
will end up arriving at the convention with:
Ball 1 delegate (released to Mckinney) 0
Nader 15 delegates (released to No Preference) 0
Brown 1 delegate (released to No Preference) 0
Swift 1 delegate 1
McKinney 9 delegates (augmented by 1 received from Ball release) 10
Mesplay 1 delegate 1
No Preference 4 delegates (augmented by 16 released) 20
This sounds to me as though it leaves open the possibility of a first
rate Convention delegation that
does not go against the primary election results.
