Merelice - a reminder that a number of people have raised this concern, this
is an issue for all of us not just me.

State law a well as our deleate selection plan hinges allocation of delegates
on the whether the candidate has released them already - even before they are
at a Nominating Convention to vote:

""Chapter 53: Section 70I. Delegates and alternate delegates to national
conventions; voting for president on first roll call

Section 70I. If there is a roll call vote for president at the national
convention of a political party, all delegates and alternate delegates whose
selection is subject by party rule to the approval of a presidential candidate shall
vote on the first such roll call for that presidential candidate unless
released by such candidate."

As Eli suggested, perhaps more folks would like to help in the effort to
reach the folks who are not seeking our Nomination to clarify "release" now?

We have been asked to take this conversation off of statecom-discuss since
the next step sits with CDLC and Adcom - can we do that?

I guess I can at least pledge not to post to statecom about this except if
asked to clarify - Thanks, Grace
