Re: Debate Debacles and Da Battles

This year, more than ever,  the "debate to get into the debates" will be a
huge one for us nationwide. And the GPUS Media Committee wants to keep the
press informed because there's nothing reporters like more than having their
research handed to them on a silver-linked patter.

We're starting with page at gp.org where we can track successes, battles and
even failures as we approach November.

We want to post and link the status of  debates by posting all state and
candidate press releases, as well as press coverage.

We'll be needing info from U.S. congressional and statewide candidates and
their state parties so we can compile and promote all the latest, up-dated
debate info. We certainly want to list the high profile races- like Camejo's
CA Gov race, some Connecticut campaigns and many others in between already-
but we're especially looking for all the local stories
to punctuate the point... and promote them nationally too.

You can post releases and articles to the GPUS state-media or MC listserv or
send them to me  at parx at midpac.net   (or send it to any other MC person for
posting). If you have questions don't hesitate to ask.

Please pass this on to your state parties and local candidates and their
media people.
