Massachusetts

WHAT: Grace Grace Ross reveals a fairer, more sensible budget

WHEN: 9:00 am

WHERE: 14 Beacon St., Boston, 1t floor conference room

DETAILS:
A bolder budget is possible, that will help all of us!
Grace Ross will present the outlines of an alternative budget which
will include billions in savings and new revenue.

The press conference will unveil the beginnings of a four year plan and
the outlines and a number of examples of each of the following
categories:
Savings - many of which require some upfront investment but will save
the state billions
Revenues not presently drawn down from the federal government
Revenues that move the state toward fairer taxes
Initiatives to help local economies

There will be hand-outs on sample initiatives

This budget points to fairer taxation, locally-focused revenue
increases, refocusing the state’s resources on prevention and early
intervention in a wide range of programs that will save the state
billions of dollars presently wasted, and drawing down federal funds.
If our elected leaders will not lead, then they will follow our lead!
