[Convention] RE: [statecom] Verifying Regular Proposals for State Convention

Hi all, I'm not sure if these are proposals or part of our organizing plan, but I suggest that we:

1.  Organize town committees throughout the State, especially where we have candidates running for office.  I believe that three people can start a town committee (or G-RP local);

2.  Motivate local fundraising by allocating 50% of all dues to the Region that it comes from (in materials, if not dollars);

3.  Publish regular press releases on current issues (impeach Bush/Cheney, Freedom to Marry, impeach Finneran, no war for oil/withdrw troops from Iraq, universal health care, etc), as I never see anything about the MA Green-Rainbow Party in the news.

4.  Actions on Kerry and other Democrats who support the occupation of Iraq, and other actions around peace issues.

5.  Organize debates between G-RP folks and Republicrats??

We gotta get organized, and create action for change!!  Thanks, Peter
