Hello, all,

Good news!

Today I received a call from John Dekadt, the 'leader' of Wakarusa, who
apologized for delaying his response, but who is in principle up for the
idea of playing May 1.

He will be contacting the members of the band to see whether they're on
board too. (John is a registered Green-Rainbow.) Wakarusa has recently been
playing NY City and also have a new lead singer (woman), so this caused the
delay, in part.

Their popularity is on the rise, so I think we might be in for a treat.

Will keep you all posted (John said he'd get back to me at the end of the
week) - but at least this is one (I hope) less thing to worry about re the
convention.
