I think this came up at the last adcom meeting and I
don't know what if any decision was made. I have no
record of a decision.
I would suggest that rather than try to collect and
tally a ranking ballot for the proposals, that we
simple address them in the order in which I recieved
them via email.
Technically all proposals are considered floor
proposals this year, which means that each proposals
needs 14 supporters or 25% of the convention body,
whichever is smaller. It is possible that not all of
the proposals will be able to garner the necessary
support up front.
The order I recieved them was:
Palestine Position - Tue, 17 May 2005 08:45:46 -0400
9-11 Investigation - Tue, 17 May 2005 10:09:20 -0400
Cand. Endrs. Proc. - Thu, 19 May 2005 10:45:04 -0400
Slate Method for 2006 - Sun, 22 May 2005 21:50:45
-0400
There may be other floor proposals, but we won't know
about them until the convention.
Another possible method of ranking the proposals would
be to use a straw poll with a show of hands to see
what order to take them in.
Either way, there would be no concerns/no concerns
ranking for an expedited round like we do for
proposals on the state committee.
