[Convention] convention info for the newsletter

I am helping Grace compile content for the GRP newsletter.  If we can  
get the newsletter finished very soon then we will be able to mail it  
out  to all registered GRP voters as notification of the convention.  
So we need an article with convention info.  Julie Saad said she  
might be able to put this together if someone gives her the info.
