What: The Annual Green-Rainbow Party Conference- “Take Back the State, Take 
Back America!”

Why: Annual Meeting and Workshops

Who: all green-rainbow and green party members in mA, NONMEMBERS ARE WELCOME 
ALSO

Where: Western mass- a nice place to get out of the city/suburban areas! 
Camping? Place where people can sleep inside if they want to also.
I KNOW ADCOM WAS DISCUSSING EASTERN MASS SO IT COULD COINCIDE WITH 
FUNDRAISING EVENT, BUT LLOYD NEEDED HELP WITH FINDING A LOCATION

When: July 4th weekend (either the weekend of June30-July1 or July 7 and 8) 
This will demonstrate how “American” the grp is!!

DATE HAS CHANGED TO AUGUST 25-26 IF IT'S A 2 DAY. 26TH IF JUST ONE DAY.  WHO 
CAN WE RECRUIT TO FIND A LOCATION?



Logistics:
Alternative locations:-- *Treasure Valley in central ma: is it handicap 
accessible? Is their any transportastion nearby?;
-- ** college campuses in the Amhearst Area; **Bed and Breakfasts (Martina 
knows of one that has food and camping!!) in the Amhearst area.

If we need any food, we should support local agriculture!
WE WILL PROBABLY NEED TO BRING OWN FOOD.  WHO CAN BRING FOOD?


Possible workshops:
--SHARC again **
--People’s Music Network speaker **
--Disability Rights (Sexuality) **
--How does legislative Process work?
--How to be environmentally conscious and still have a life *
--Peak Oil * (try Ted)
--local farmers speaking about local agriculture*

WHO HAS BEEN CONTACTED SO FAR WITH THE WORKSHOPS?

Possible entertainment:
--People’s Music Network **
--People from GRP
GARY HAS SOMEONE WHO HAS AGREED TO DO A SHOW FOR ~$200

Publicity:
--we need to suggest- Valley Free Radio, Public Radio throughout Ma
--postcards to send to all GRP and Green members (in late may); follow-up 
phone calls (in June)
THE NEWSLETTER IS BEING SENT OUT, THIS IS A REQUIREMENT FOR STATE CONVENTION 
(NOTIFICATION)

Would anyone want to perform from the statecom ?

Is the timing of postcards and calls too early or too late?

Can we get a statewide list of registered greens , GRPs?
