Hi,
Before we send out our email fundraising letter, please view the two
examples I recommend below. They are both from UNICEF. The first was
sent January 26. The second was sent February 11. Since I don't know
how to send what I received without losing the formatting, I'm
providing links to the web versions. (Owen kindly converted the long
link of the first letter to a short link.)

One important difference between the online version and the emailed
version I received: In the emailed version, underneath the outlined
letter format, there is an option and link for being removed from the
email list.

To note: The letters are not identical. Since our letter is somewhat
long, might we want to consider sending two shorter versions with
different content within a week or two of each other? Even if we keep
the same letter, let's send it out a second time within a fairly short
timeframe. Sending the same letter is a typical direct-marketing
technique.
