[fundraising] renewal mailing; silent auction

Hi Merelice,

Thanks for the reminder. The postcards went out today for renewal  
reminders. 168 reminders for the last year and a month.

The next step is to update the renewal thank you letter and the new  
member thank you letter which are dated in content.

I have tried to contact Eva a number of times by both email and phone  
over the last year but neither has produced a response in regards to  
becoming a sustainer. As for doing the mailing stuff that is great.  
When we have the thank you letters updated and ready, then she can do  
the mailing work. Might as well wait till after the convention and  
these reminders go out to see if they generate some more thank yous.  
Have you been in touch with Eva lately? Can you send me off list her  
latest email and phone so i can double check we have the correct ones?

Do you know of someone who volunteered to do the phone follow up to  
the dues reminders? That was an important feature that Brian did. If  
we could get someone to do that it would sure help.

Do you remember anyone else who thought the silent auction was a good  
idea when you mentioned it at statecom meeting? Maybe they would be  
interested... not much time left.
