Here is the text from the thank you letter for people who renew (that
fits on one side of a sheet):

Dear ,

Thank you for your recent financial support for the Massachusetts
Green-Rainbow Party. Your important financial contributions have
funded campaigning, operational costs, communications, the
convention, and much more. We rely on your help so much because we do
not accept funding from corporations.

When we invest in the Party, we invest in the conviction that we can
make this world work for everyone. We build momentum to further
organize, have issue events, increase membership, develop candidates
and staff, and make a difference in Massachusetts.

This year we nominated a diverse slate of candidates to run for
various commonwealth-wide offices including:

* Grace Ross for Governor. Grace is a Worcester activist, former GRP
co-chair, and longtime low-income organizer. She is the first
lesbian to run for governor.

* Wendy Van Horne for Lieutenant Governor. Wendy is a Lunenburg
resident, nurse, and GRP co-chair. She is also the first Asian
American to run for any statewide office in Massachusetts and at age
22, she is the youngest candidate for lieutenant governor in recent
Massachusetts history.

* James O'Keefe for Treasurer and Receiver General. Jamie is a
Somerville resident, and ran as our candidate for treasurer in 2002
and received 8% of the vote. James is a former party co-chair,
treasurer and helped found Mystic River Green-Rainbow Action.

* Jill Stein for Secretary of the Commonwealth. Jill was our
candidate for governor in 2002 and a legislative candidate in 2004.
She is also a founder of the Mass. Coalition for Healthy Communities.

We need your continued assistance to make this campaign successful
and to use it to identify the candidates, activists and supporters
who will advance our message in the 2007 local elections.

We need more than just your financial support. We also need your
time and effort. Please visit http://www.green-rainbow.org/
volunteer.html if you are able to volunteer.

Also, please consider becoming a sustaining donor with a minimum
monthly contribution of just $10. Simply fill out the accompanying
form and send it to: Green-Rainbow Party, PO Box 440353, Somerville
MA 02144. Make checks payable to "Green-Rainbow Party, Federal Fund."
Check off the monthly sustainer box to become a sustainer.

We cannot do it without you, please give generously.

Thank you for your continuing support.

Sincerely,

Brian O'Connell, Fundraising Associate, Green-Rainbow Party of MA

P.S. We are trying to make supporting us easier and quicker for you.
Simply go to:www.green-rainbow.org/contrib.html to contribute on-
line. Please be as generous as you can. Every dollar you give and
hour you volunteer moves us closer to creating a better world for
ourselves, our children and our planet.
