[fundraising] Proposal for Party-wide 3 day reginalized group fundraising activity - need vetting, co-sponsor

[Note: I'm copying Melissa because she once wrote she would help with
fundraising mailings and I'm not sure she is on the fundraising list.]

Hi Ron (and others),

I'm sorry you won't be at Sunday's meeting. I believe it's OK to have
just two sponsors as long as one of them attends the meeting and can
present the proposal. I plan to be there.

For the Fundraising Committee meeting -- which is currently on the
statecom agenda -- to be effective, it would help to have samples of
the materials that Brian used to mail out (renewal postcards, followup
letters, sustainer inserts, etc.). Did anyone ever meet with Brian
after he left for any kind of transition and/or to pick up materials?
Also copies of the fundraising month-by-month spreadsheet of
activities would be helpful, and I might be able to supply that.

Anyone on this list willing to be active in any way? I know that Eva
Kerr (who probably is not on the list) is still willing to do monthly
mailings as she did when Brian was working. He then did the phone
followups.

Hi Merelice and all,

I made the changes tha you suggested and put the proposal on the website.

Unfortunately I will not be able to make the Statecom meeting due to
an unavoidable conflict that takes me out of state.  Frustrating...
but there is nothing I can do about it.  I can be available by cell
phone if needed but I can't really participate.

Therefore a 3rd sponsor will be needed (I think...)

Good Luck with the proposal.  I hope it passes since we need to make
the commitment to do fundraising and if everyone pitches in it can
become a regular and even fun activity that becomes part of the
regular machinery of machinery... just like Brians's efforts became
doing staffperson-related fundraising.
