[fundraising] another piece about fundraising responsibilities

" Hi,

As noted at our last meeting, I am sending along a pdf of the
month-by-month schedule for fundraising that I developed when I was
Fundraising Director. It could provide a good foundation for GRP
fundraising efforts and could be of help in guiding the work of a
Fundraising Director when that office gets filled.

Renewal 1 is the first renewal letter that gets mailed the month
before someone's membership renewal is due. Renewal 2 is a postcard
followup the month the renewal is due. Renewal calls are a followup to
mailed renewal notices. Thanks/sustainer is a thank-you letter for
renewals and contributions, with an enclosure asking people to
consider becoming sustainers. (I'll send a copy of the enclosure
separately.)

In addition, there were 4 emailed fundraising letters scheduled, 2
U.S.-mailed letters (in months proven to get strong results), an
annual thank-you letter to sustainers (who rarely hear from us!), a
silent auction to be held in conjunction with the convention, and a
possible fundraising event.
