Ebony's situation was actually what I had in mind when I noted how Galvin will use any technicality to preserve Democratic Party hegemony. That also was not a new technicality,
but still was not a fair technicality. My concern is certainly not for Nader, but for those who signed his petitions. They're the ones who may be disenfranchised, just as Ebony's constituents may be disenfranchised, all ultimately because the Democrats will use every possible measure to preserve their stranglehold within the state.

The stink now being made by the Nader campaign, in fact, allows us a golden opportunity to point out to the media how such shenanigans are hardly new within this state- that we find ourselves sympathetic with Nader's situation precisely because the Democrats have also played hardball with US within this state. The media never paid attention before to ballot access problems in this state. Now that they have noticed, we may be able to use this to call for reform before the mighty Galvin kicks the can of yet another one of our candidates. It has now become an issue before the public, impetus for reform in the state.
