Hello, all,
Wow, another email list.
Anyway, I was hoping that before we all set off to Milwaukee, we'd be able
to have a training session in what to expect, how voting will go (yes, once
those floor rules are ironed out), and what delegate duties entail.
Secondly, if we could hold such a session, I think it would be very
beneficial for everybody to watch the tape of the January 29 Cambridge
debate between 3 candidates (80 min). Many delegates were not at that
debate and many of them may not yet have had the opportunity to see these
candidates in action. Some delegates may be working with indirect
information regarding these candidates (Cobb, Salzman, Mesplay).
I was thinking of something like the first or second week in June and to be
held at a central location (still to be reached by public transportation or
a carpool picking folks up from a western-end public transportation stop).
The Tatanuk Bookstore (spelling?) in Worcester might be an option, or at
another place that would allow western MA delegates not to drive more than
the 1 to 2 hours (in my case) it takes to get to Worcester.
Input, please:
1) Training session - good idea or not
2) Training session date (weekend day vs weekday evening)
3) Training session location
Thanks,
Wanda
