SIGN-ON STATEMENT OF COBB & UNCOMMITTED DELEGATES FOR A STRONG GREEN
PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN

We, the undersigned Green National Convention delegates, are either
instructed by the members of our state parties to vote for the
nomination of David Cobb for Green Party candidate for the U.S.
presidency, or are officially "uncommitted" delegates.

We wholeheartedly support the nomination of David Cobb because we
believe:

        1 - David Cobb is one of this country's most clear and
charismatic spokespersons for democracy;
        2 - David Cobb is against the occupation of Iraq and
Afghanistan, and unequivocally supports the Green Party platform on all
issues of the day;
        3 - David Cobb will grow the Green Party by gaining national
exposure for our platform, winning a credible vote total, retaining and
achieving new Green ballot lines, and reaching out to diverse
constituencies;
        4 - David Cobb wants the nomination of the Green Party, and
respects our party and our party members;
        5 - David Cobb will campaign hard in those states that need him
to, whether those states are considered "battleground states" or not;
        6 - David Cobb understands the goal is to build a multiparty
democracy, and that independent politics are not simply a means to
pressure the Democrats;
        7 - The nomination of David Cobb will represent the maturation
of the Green Party into a true broad, political party, independent of
single personalities or narrow agendas, and
        8 - The people of the world deserve a true progressive voice in
the presidential elections, against the war, against corporate power,
for ecology, for social and racial justice, and David Cobb will be that

voice.
