I had looked over each candidate’s web sites, but to see them in person was very helpful to this relative newcomer to the party. I left the reception with a feeling that the party was properly poised for this post-Nader period, where the country is in need of a true opposition party.

I regretted that our delegation was established so late in the game that we didn’t have such an opportunity. Some people I didn't get to know until I met them on the floor.

This took place at the meeting that was called for 1pm Friday on the 7th floor of the hotel. All transactions that took place on Saturday, I'm sure, are on record with the party.
