Hello, folks,

As of last night, at Gil Obler's request, I have relieved him of the task of 
moderating this list.

In doing this, I have learned that this list presently has five subscribers- 
not as many folks as we might wish, but enough certainly to qualify for 
locals certification. Presently, this Caucus has in essence been a paper 
caucus- useful to some extent in helping the National Lavender Green Caucus 
achieve accreditation, but in the final analysis little more than an 
infrequently used list-serv.

In the GRP, rules regarding certification of locals allow for the creation 
of caucuses as identity based and issue based locals that are not defined by 
county, watershed, or municipality.

Might the folks on this list-serv have an interest in organizing such a 
local? I have model bylaws available, we certainly can organize via 
cyber-meetings or conference calls, and we can use pertinent lists 
(including the announcements list) to publicise such meetings and urge other 
LGBTIQ persons to help fashion an active local organized around this 
list-serv.

What say you all? How shall we kick things up a notch?
