The Stonewall Speakers Bureau Needs New Members

This semester's SB training will be on
Saturday, February 12 from 9-5 pm at the
Stonewall Center. Please recruit your
friends, family members and all others who
are close and dear. We really love to have
allies; everyone's experiences are valuable.
During this one-day training session we will
work with you to help you find a story, which
you can then share with speaker engagements
in the community or on this campus. This is a
great way to be involved you can help
breakdown stereotypes and give people a
chance to talk in an educational setting.

After this training you will have no more
obligations, so if its not something you are
interested in it’s okay. You can also
moderate the number of speakers bureau
engagements that you say yes to, so you don't
have to worry about being overwhelmed with
time commitments. In this era of anti-gay
backlash stemming from the Same Sex Marriage
issue, it's especially important to help
educate. Community members and people of all
ages are welcome.

We will provide lunch and breakfast, so
PLEASE RSVP so that there will be enough for
everyone.
