Subject: [Lavender-caucus] Caucus Chair position open

Hello Lavender Greens....

As many of you know, Brandon Lacy, Lavender Caucus Chair, resigned from
his position as of December 31, 2004. We will need to conduct a
nomination process and election for this position. We will begin a 14
day nomination period as of Friday, January 14 so I'm sending this
notice today to give folks a few days to think about running for Caucus
Chair. When the nomination period begins, people may place themselves in
nomination or nominate someone they feel would represent the Caucus
well. Nominees should be willing to submit a biography and be available
to answer questions that Caucus members may submit.

Brandon has served this Caucus well and his leadership will be truly
missed. I am confident that we will elect someone that is qualified and
that will represent Lavender Greens within the Green Party and to our
communities at large. Please consider running for this very important
office.

There are also other positions that will be open as of April 15
(Treasurer, CC Delegate and Alternate) that folks may want to consider
running for.

Please look at our bylaws:
http://www.lavendergreens.org/lavender_greens_022.htm, Goals and
Objectives: http://www.lavendergreens.org/lavender_greens_025.htm,
Archives and other information available on our website to get an idea
of the duties and levels of involvement for various positions.

Thanks,

Tim Casebolt

Secretary, NLGC
