Dear Stephanie…

Thank you for your application. We apologize for the

delay in responding.

According to the Bylaws of the National Women's Caucus

(NWC), decisions on policy must be made by a vote of

the membership. The membership is also responsible for

deciding and passing policy defining male to female

for the purposes of membership in the NWC.

The NWC membership is in the process of an important

vote that is required by the GPUS. We then have

another vote that is required by the Bylaws and

another proposal was submitted before your completed

application was received on March 15, 2005. A vote on

the issue concerning membership cannot be scheduled

until after those votes take place.

We will let you know when it will be scheduled and we

will let you know the outcome of the membership

proposal.

We hope you will bear with us while we work to develop

these important structures and policies for the sake

of us all and for the future of the Green Party.

For the NWC Coordinating Committee:

Morgen D'Arc, Co-Chair

National Women's Caucus
