Oh, one other point...
I still consider the Statecom directive to be in
effect, as is the proposal to form a Equal marriage
task force that organizes around the State, or any
other proposal in the history of Statecom that
requires financial resources, ....
.... but that does not mean that any moneys are
definitively dedicated for any particular proposal
that statecom has passed in the recent past
(phonecalls or equal marriage rights proposal or
whatever)... and especially one where the directive
seems to be for "Statecom and Locals to attempt to
call" and nothing is said about a paid person to do
this... although Adcom has agreed to a one month trial
on this matter spending money for a paid person.
On adcom we have talked about how proposals that don't
come with moneys attached as a budget item for tier
one or any tier are actually inappropriate, and in
fact what should happen in general is what happened at
our last Statecom where money was allocated
specifically for a task (some in tier one and some in
tier two)...
