I hope everyone will read the piece in the NYT linked below. Please!
After you read it, what do you think of the Dems' call for no-fly
zone over Sudan/Darfur AND sanctions on Sudan, already in worse
straits in some ways than Darfur is now? (Malaria rages in Sudan
partly because Clinton "mistakenly" bombed their pharmaceutical
factory. No apology was ever given, and no attempt to pay reparations
was made by Clinton or Bush.)

The assault is a project being put forward by the "good" Dems like
McGovern and Capuano. In Boston, the leaders in this effort are the
Jewish Community Relations Council (aka AIPAC). (Israel considers
Sudan an enemy state since it has helped the Palestinians.)
This is also a neocon project as can be seen from the disgusting
neocon website run by Frank Gafney, DivestTerror.org
Where does UFPJ stand on this?

THE one bright light in the dismal international response to the
slaughter and starvation in Sudan's Darfur region has been a
humanitarian effort that has kept more than two million displaced
people alive. ETC.
