Very impressive for a write-in kept off the ballot who did not campaign!!
Does this set a precedent for us here in MA. In OH Nader's allotment of
delegates MUST vote for him on the first ballot.
Would it not be a scream if he won despite not being a candidate?

> Cynthia McKinney won 55% of the first-round votes in the Green Party of
Ohio Presidential Primary which ended during the State Convention on
Saturday, 4/5/08. Ralph Nader, a write-in candidate, came in second with
26% and Jesse Johnson, Kat Swift and "None of the Above" came in a three-way
tie for third.
>
> The three-way tie for third created a problem for allocating delegates to
the National Convention so the State Convention meeting in Athens decided to
consider which of the three got the most second choice votes in the
Instant-Runoff Ranking. After counting these votes the State Convention
decided to use the results, with Jesse Johnson and "None of the Above"
receiving more first and second round choices than Kat Swift.

first round at the National Convention. They are free to vote their
conscience in any subsequent round.
