Dear Greens,


 It looks like we're now going to have to shift to "Plan B", in order to
raise the needed $9,000 for Arizona.  "Plan A" was to (of course) raise the
entire $9,000 by tonight, Tuesday, Feb. 19.  Well, short of a miracle, we're
definitely not on track to make that previous target, but fortunately a
"Plan B" is still possible.


 That is, I talked with Arizona campaign coordinator Claudia Ellquist last
night, and she explained that because the paid petitioners don't have to be
paid until they first go out and actually bring back signatures, the money
that we've already raised (about $5,800), will certainly keep the
petitioners going through this coming next weekend (that is, through Sunday,
Feb. 24).  So Plan B will be to move the target date for raising the entire
$9,000 to this coming Sunday!


 In addition though, we will probably need to put more of an emphasis on
making phone calls, as we've probably "maxed out" on whatever response we
can get by mainly just posting e-mails.  (Separately, I will post some
thoughts about how to make the phone calls as easy as possible, while still
being effective enough to raise the needed funds.  In fact, I estimate that
if we can average just one hour of phone calls per allocated NC delegate
during this coming week, then we should be able to raise all of the
remaining needed funds by this Sunday!).


 Finally, below is the current situation regarding money already sent (or
which will be sent within 24 hours), and money that we are still trying to
raise.  (Everyone, please check the figures for your state to confirm that
they are accurate).


 I'm sorry that we weren't able to raise the full $9,000 within just 6 or 7
days, but raising $5,800 in one week is certainly a good start towards
reaching our $9,000 goal for Arizona by this coming next weekend!


 So thanks a LOT to everyone who has helped raise money this past week --
and now, on to Plan B!  (That is, please see the separate e-mail!).
