[Northampton-GP] Hampshire County Convention - Volunteer Opportunity!

Greetings everyone!
 
As you know, Northampton is playing host to the Hampshire County Convention this year. Jill Stein is going to be our keynote speaker! Please help spread the word!
 
Volunteers are needed to do flyering in Northampton. The flyer will be available at Collective Copies in Amherst this Thursday. Anyone going to be in Amherst on Thursday who can front the $$ to pick up a stack of flyers please let us know. Flyering can start this (Memorial Day)weekend. (2 weeks prior to convention).
 
Volunteers are also needed to make reminder phone calls to the registered Northampton Greens. This is scheduled for the following weekend - 5/31. (1 week prior to the convention)
 
Also, volunteers are needed for set-up and break-down on the day of. Set-up people should plan to arrive by 9:45 a.m.

The convention is Saturday, June 7th, at the Maines Field Pavilion in Florence, from 10-2. Nominations and elections to State Committee will be held in in the morning between 10:30 and Noon, followed by a pot-luck bbq. Fresh falafel sandwiches and drinks will be available for a donation. Jill Stein speaks at 1 p.m. In case of severe weather, (high winds and heavy rain only) the entire event moves indoors to Salvo House, 81 Conz Street.
 
 
Directions to Maines Field: From the intersection of Routes 5 and 9 in downtown Northampton, take Route 9 West 2.7 miles to the center of Florence. Make a left at light (Mobil gas station on corner). Follow a few blocks to the end. Make a right and then an immediate left onto Maple Street which shortly makes a sharp left and becomes Riverside Drive. Maines Field is half a mile down Riverside on the right.
