[Northampton-GP] State Convention Planning Group Needs Assistance

To all:

The convention committee (the group working on logistics for the annual
convention) met the other night. It was five white guys. I appreciate
the work these five white guys are doing, but if the convention is 
going to appeal to a diverse group of people, a diverse group of people 
should be involved in planning/preparing for it. Or so it seems to me.

In past years, the Mass. Green Party had the luxury of a paid staff
person to prepare the annual convention, sparing us the need to get too
involved in the actual logistical work of putting the annual meeting
together. We no longer have that luxury. Please reflect on the amount 
of time you are able to volunteer to help pull this event off, and get in
touch with the committee about lending a hand. Especially if you are a
woman or a person of color. Thanks.
