1)Ebony (co-chair of Green-Rainbow Party) described
several opportunities for actions which we as a local
could take part in qua Green-Rainbows.
a.11/28/03 Bring the Troops Home vigils
b.Abolish Poverty March – statewide event passing
through Northampton and Amherst end of March 2004
  c.Municipal toxics use reduction campaign
d.Putting together a panel discussion or a public
speaker on some hot local topic.
e.Voter registration drive – via tabling somewhere

2)Decision: get-together to update local membership
database. This will be a pot-luck at the home of Susan
Lantz, 74 Lyman Rd., Northampton 586-3544. Monday,
11/17. Bring a phone book and a friend. 6:30-8:30 p.m.

3)Decision: Community Service Day: to be determined,
but there was consensus that we take on a group effort
on some community service project on a weekend day in
the next 6 weeks or so. Suggestions are requested.
Ideas offered included the Northampton clean up in
downtown, and Habitat for Humanity.

4)There was extended discussion of the need to do more
outreach and come up with creative ways to increase
the visibility of the Green-Rainbows locally. Ebony
emphasized calling members to witness to the 10 key
values – standing up for what you believe in. Many
questions arose regarding the AP March. Ebony will try
to get answers and we may have a visit from Lisa
Richards (AP March organizer) at the December meeting.

9 p.m. Meeting Adjourned. Next meeting, Monday
December 1st. Same time. Same place.
