See latest email from Rudy Perkins of the Millers
River Greens (below). This is one of the events that
Ebony pointed out to us at the meeting last night.
Please email me off-list if you are interested in
participating or contacting others to participate in

ANTI-OCCUPATION STANDOUT THE DAY AFTER
THANKSGIVING. I have spoken with the Holyoke police
and we won't need a permit to hold our banners on the
public sidewalks on the roads leading into the Holyoke
Mall. Per their request, I will be sending a letter
just letting them know where we will be, as an
informational courtesy.
So the day after Thanksgiving, we will hold
anti-occupation, bring the troops home and peace
banners and flags on Holyoke Street, Holyoke, MA, on
the north side of the Holyoke-Ingleside mall adjoining
I-91, near the entrance drive to the Barnes & Noble
bookstore on Holyoke Street as you approach the
Holyoke Mall parking area. I have gotten commitments
from about ten of you to be there already. If we can
get more commitments we will run the standout into the
evening as a candlelight vigil. For now, let's say 10
am to 5 pm. With more commitments, we'll run it by
candlelight to 9:30 pm.
This is a monster shopping day at that mall, and
thousands of people will see our message.
Please let me know the time during the day from 10 am
to 9:30 pm that you might be willing to do a couple
hour shift at the mall holding banners and signs. If
you can volunteer to bring thermoses of hot chocolate
or coffee we will recommend you for canonization.
Tony Lorenzen is working on a simultaneous Searstown
Mall / Leominster presence and Ebony Barkley is
working on a downtown Worcester presence that day as
well, if those are more convenient locations for you.
Many thanks.
Let's get the troops home for the holidays.
