Candidate Recruitment Committee Forming in Western
Mass

Over the last nine months, the Green-Rainbow Party’s
Candidate
Development Committee has created an electoral
strategy and candidate
recruitment plan for the 2004 election cycle.  With
these plans
approved at the State Committee meeting on September
13, we are now
ready to move on to the next step: setting up regional
committees to
identify and recruit candidates for targeted seats in
the
Massachusetts House and Senate.

We have scheduled the first meeting of the Western
Massachusetts
Regional Candidate Recruitment Committee.

Date: 
Sunday, September 28, 2003

Time: 
Assemble at 10:30 a.m.; meeting will begin promptly at
11:00 and run
until 1:00 p.m.
(We will adjourn in time for meeting participants to
head over to the
Amherst Green-Rainbow Town Committee's Open House
Potluck Party,
which will be held at Ellie and Frank Gatti's home, 53
Iduna Lane,
starting at 2:00 pm.)

Faculty Lounge, Franklin-Patterson Hall
Hampshire College
Amherst

Residents of Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, and
Hampshire Counties who
would like to participate in this exciting process
should contact one
of the following people as soon as possible.
