[Northampton-GP] Monday's meeting

My apologies for my lack of participation- the illness that I came down with
during the abolish poverty march planning turned out to be pretty serious
and I anticipate that it will be affecting me for another month or so. I
hope to get back into the swing of things in April, but I will have to see
how it goes.

Jim- I am not sure how this will affect our planning for the Franklin County
Convention, but let me know what needs to be done and I will try my best to
help out.

I, Jon Levy, was the only one who showed up last night and after waiting
15 minutes went home. A Green-Rainbow party candidate for governors council
in this district has asked us to help him get signatures which was one of
the topics I hoped to discuss last night with you all. I'm fairly certain
Susan Lantz must've been busy with the Kucinich stuff, he got my vote. But
the election season is upon us and we as the Northampton Green local are
going to be asked to help the party and we should not let our group die off
now, now is the time we can make a difference, I hope we can make a real
effort to show up in April, there should be alot of important stuff to
discuss. Our county convention is this march 9th at Hitchcock center in
amherst at 6:30. It will be a potluck and we need to elect Hampshire county
state committee delegates. Please consider running and at least show up to
help the event be successful and vote. I am under the impression that there
are currently only 3 people definitely running for 8 seats, could this be
the end of the Massachusetts Green-Rainbow Party as we know it, tune in next
week for another exciting episode of "The Little Political Party that Could,
but Didn't".

I am so sorry guys. I completely spaced yesterday's meeting. I have
just been so busy with my life and work. Yikes! Anyway, what did end up
happening last night? I apologize again, I normally don't flake out like
that. -Jackie
