Sorry, I didn;'t mean to send my msg to Owen to the whole list...but as long
as I did...I am still REALLY HOPING that STEP, the Abolish Poverty Network,
Mel King, etc. will write to the mayor of Springfield (and send a copy to
Arise.) Time is running out! Let me be blunt and I hope not rude...but what
good is this Abolish Poverty network if the people on it can't respond to
such an urgent plea from an active member organization? I think it's been
more than a month since I first asked for this help...thanks, Anne and Owen,
for your letters.

Hi, Owen, when you have a minute could you give me an update on the letter?
Thanks, take care.

I have forwarded a draft letter to the AdCom for comment. AdCom is having a
telephone conference call tomorrow. Will submit again, and ask that it be
placed on agenda.

Would LOVE to see you run for City Council in Springfield, Michaelann. I
shall be running again in the Town of Agawam, and have reconstituted my
campaign committee with my brother serving as the new treasurer (since I am
a public official in Agawam, I can't).

OB
