Dear Green-Rainbow Party Supporters and Activists,

The Exploratory Committee, responsible for organizing the Nominating
Convention and the possible slate of statewide candidates, wanted to
broadly contact the Party's activists to review the attached draft
platform that was compiled and discussed but never decided upon when we
became the merged Green-Rainbow Party.

We are aware that Party members wanted to begin defining the GRP
platform for this electoral season at the Nominating Convention this
March 4th.

What we want to know is this:

"Is this document an acceptable starting point for discussions on March
4th?"

Please review and reply as soon as possible.

Please note that we are NOT asking if you agree with all of this or how
it is worded, nor asking you to send in suggestions. What we ARE
asking is if this document begins to encompass what should be in the
general scope and focuses of the GRP platform.

We recognize that platforms are and should continue to be a living and
growing document.

Please advise if you think we can begin here.

Many thanks,
     Your Exploratory Committee
