Subject: Senate Race 2nd Worcester District - Request Development
Assistance

Greetings.

Please be informed that Steven Baer, member of the Green-Rainbow Party
intends to run in the upcoming November 2008 elections to become
Massachusetts State Senator for the Second Worcester District. The Seat
is being vacated by the current holder, Senator Edward Augustus.

The Second District Worcester includes Auburn, Grafton, Leicester,
Millbury, Shrewsbury, Upton and Worcester (wards 5 thru 8).

Steven Baer resides in Shrewsbury.

Steven requests the aid of the GRP Candidate Development and Legal
Committee to help him with Office of Finance obligations, "winning
strategy" advice, community current-events / concerns digestion and info
feeds, and communications networking - especially setting up and
maintaining a multifaceted network that can be used to regularly
dialogue with the public.

I would like to have at least one GRP person, or GRP sympathetic person,
on the ground in each of the towns in the District, if not each of the
communities in those towns. There are 31 Wards in the District.
I could use your help locating people.

At present, I am in the process of gathering the required 300-plus
signatures to gain access to the November Ballot. It would be helpful if
I received advice on where the local "hot" gathering spots are. It would
also be advantageous, though not direly necessary during the signature
gathering phase, to have the assistance of a few people.

I will be developing talking points in the near future. The focus of my
campaign is "A More Humane State," the components of which are Housing,
Health, Energy, Education, Environment, & Future Sustainability - all of
which center upon consumption choices (food, energy and materials) and
local jobs that are not harmful to people, animals, or the planet.

I look forward to working closely with the Committee in the near future.
Thank you for your time and energies with this GRP Campaign.
