[Platform] next meeting of the Platform Comm.-please respond

Hi Mike,

Your proposed agenda for a Platform Committee meeting seems both
timely and complete.

I would suggest that you skipped an important step between your
requests/demands for a Platform meeting and your deciding to go ahead
on your own. That step would have been to pick up the phone and talk
directly with one of the co-chairs and ask whether it would be helpful
for you to organize and schedule a meeting. Given how busy they both
are, they might have welcomed the assistance -- especially since
preparation is needed for the StateCom meeting.

Then your efforts (and especially your tone!) would have come across
as cooperative rather than combative -- something which is not
welcoming to new people and which the hard-working volunteers in the
GRP don't need. Perhaps you would consider doing so now.
