Hi Grace,
While CDLC's role is to help explain the process for a ballot
question, my understanding is that subgroups of the Platform Committee
are working on the content and have asked individuals involved in
particular issues to help develop wording for three or four possible
ballot questions.
As you know from our Thursday MAAPL meeting (Mass Alliance Against
Predatory Lending), I am depending on you and others on MAAPL's
Legislation and Legal Committee to help develop wording for the
predatory lending ballot initiative, and I look forward to getting
your recommendations.
The sense of urgency comes in part from the two-week deadline for
posting proposals for the April 12 StateCom meeting. I will post a
place-holder.
Trust that helps.
