This proposal was done in response to a request from those on the
platform committee working on developing ballot questions -- that is,
it was their initiative, not mine, though I did tell some folks that
our Norfolk/Suffolk Convention put it at the top of the list.

The four Rainbow people working on this issue -- Chuck, Grace, Eva,
and I -- are all aware of this. For that matter, so are the up to 20
organizations who are now members of MAAPL.

I do think it is time to have a meeting of the Rainbow Coalition
Caucus, but I don't have the time to organize it.
