[Platform] [statecom-discuss] CATASTROPHIC CLIMATE CHANGE caused by HUMANS - - - ( that's us - you and me )

To: Lawrence, John, Jill, and Eli:
I think that it is very exciting that 60 members attended a meeting over
Jill's to discuss the work of the Fossil Fuels Subcommittee.
However, I have one major concern.
I am a new member of the Platform Committee and have been requesting for
over a month that the leaders of the Platform Committee call a meeting.
I have sent ideas for a proposed agenda which included asking for a
report of this subcommittee.
Because of your letter I discover that the work has been going forward,
which is excellent news. However, once again the work goes forward
WITHOUT NOTIFYING OR INVITING MEMBERS OF THE PLATFORM COMM. to attend.
The Fossil Fuels Subcommittee is a subcommittee of the Platform Comm.
Why is it that the members of the Platform Comm. were not informed or
invited?
I strongly object to this lack of transparency and once again
respectfully request that the leaders of the Platform Committee call a
meeting asap.
Thanks,
Mike Heichman
Member of the Platform Committee and the ABWG Subcommittee
