If nobody steps up, in the next two weeks (today is
Sunday, September 14th, so that gives you all until
Sunday, September 28th) I am going to convene this
PROCEDURES COMMITTEE with whoever I can drum up. I
will aim to call the first meeting before the end of
October.

We are going to go over these meeting proceedures with
a fine toothed comb so that nothing like what happened
on Saturday will ever happen again. I mean raising the
bar for proposals to even get to be considered by
state com; I mean making sure that there is
PROFESSIONAL facilitation if I have to pay for it out
of my own pocket (Wanda and Tony, if you are out
there, you did your best under ridiculous
circumstances. I can't believe I even put up my hand
for the male facilitator's role); I mean clarifying
the nominations and elections procedures; I mean
ranking proposals ahead of time; I mean setting forth
criteria for what gets considered under the the
"Urgent" matters section; and I could go on and on.

I would also like the contact info for the people who
signed up for this committee on Saturday.
