Hi Everyone,

It was a wonderful day for our candidates for Governor and Lt. Governor.

Thanks to all of our members who came out to gather signatures, pass out
literature and support our candidates at both events.

Earlier today in Worcester, Wendy participated in her first candidate
forum, sponsored by the Homeless Families Coalition. There was a panel
of women who told their stories and asked questions to the candidates.
John Sullivan (Mihos' LT), representatives from Andrea Silber's and Tim
Murry's campaigns and Wendy.

Wendy was wonderful!

I drove home for a short time, had an early dinner and took the T
(environmentally correct, but given the monsoon, I regret not driving)
to Cambridge. The gubernatorial forum was at MIT on environmental
issues. I did not know what to expect, but I was "prepared" to be
arrested. By the time I got to MIT from the T station, I was soaking wet
and relieved that I didn't drown.

When we got there, the word was that Grace would not be allowed to
participate. We passed out literature (even though they kept on telling
us it was against MIT rules--we were in no mood to cooperate). We passed
out literature and told as many people as we could that Grace was being
excluded.

I was inside the hall passing out literature. Shortly before 7, Grace
was supposed to have her press conference. Owen, our wonderful candidate
for State Rep, was in charge of notifying the press. I don't know if
the press conference ever happened. I finished passing out my literature
and came out to find out what we would do next. Someone told me that
their was a new decision and that Grace would be participating.

As someone who has attended a number of gubernatorial events, Grace was
once again magnificent!

What a day! What a day!

Keep on getting those signatures! We got to get our entire team on the
ballot.
