It will never work with the Dems in power.  That is clear.  Without
Owen and his like in the legislature, you can forget this kind of
referendum.  In fact Democrat Travaligni was a single-payer backer
until he became majority leader and then he dumped it - no doubt a
condition of his becoming majority leader.
No Greens, no single-payer.  This should be our message - loud and
clear. Nice people like Barbara and John are deluding themselves on
this - and we must point out their folly of their views although we
need not mention them by name.  Some in this group were crying after
the latest betrayal of the Dems.  The Dems are not democratic and no
matter what the rank and file want, the party "leaders" will never
willingly support single-payer.
Militancy, militancy and more militancy.
Boldness, boldness and more boldness.
People want to hear the hard truth.  No softball with the Dems.
