Maybe we should ask Eder, the fellow in Maine who served two terms as a Green State rep. Or how about our own elected officials on municipal bodies?

Meanwhile, if we were to win one or a few seats in a State Legislature that is 85 percent Democrat, it is hard to see why the Dems would have to deal with us on a basis of partisan compromise. 

There are caucuses other than partisan ones in legislatures.

Hopefully, before we get to that point, we will have better figured out who we really are politically. Or rather, until we do figure ourselves out better, we're not going to get much further anyway.
