I subscribe to a listserv through which professionals and
specialists share information about accessible architecture
and Universal Design, and today, the following note was
received:

"Our servicemen and women are coming home by the thousands with moderate to
severe brain injuries resulting in physical, developmental, and cognitive
disabilities.
*Experience & wisdom input requested:*
In addition to applying the principles of Universal Design in both existing
and new living environments, what do you believe can additionally be done in
the home that can further enable our young servicemen and women in
rehabwith brain injuries to better "adapt" to daily living at home?
