Jamie,
Thank you for (taking the risks of) doing this.
Complete clarity on our delegation, at last.

Now that we have the picture in front of use, let us bend our efforts,
before the upcoming State Convention, to securing the strongest
delegation that we can offer to the work of building the GPUS.

The chief desiderata in choosing individual members are to be found in
the descriptions of the work on the national website:
http://www.gp.org/committees/nc/delegatemanual.shtml.   For the moment,
and for those currently serving

A QUICK OVERVIEW OF DELEGATE DUTIES
In brief, delegates' obligations are fourfold:
1. To represent their caucus, state, territory, or district;
2. To inform state constituencies of GPUS proposals, votes, actions,
and other matters;
3. To vote on proposals;
4. To further the work of the GPUS by serving on committees, or help
provide a replacement
volunteer from your state party or caucus.

The composition of a delegation that will best serve our Goals 'n
Principles -- yes, the two are intimately related -- will be one that
is selected from all parts of the Commonwealth, its people, land and
seas, demonstrates gender parity, and reflects the diversity of the
people we desire to engage in our tasks.

How best to achieve all the above can be done in August only if we
begin now!
Elie Yarden,
delegate NCMA GRP
